Geshmake Tzemach Tzedek: relationship between Pesach and Tisha B'av.

When we eat “maror” it’s related to Tisha B’av. What’s the connection? When we reflect how we came-out of Mitzrayim in such glory, we ate “maror” to remember our suffering as slaves…now we look back through Golas and see how our current pain is greater than the past. Pesach and Tisha B’av are both about His Chesed and love the of Hashem for us. While there’s revealed Kindness in the story of Pesach, in Tisha B’av Hashem’s love is hidden behind a veil of Gevurah.

Which one is greater? Does a father’s discipline help a child? The parent naturally wants to show love but there are times when the parent is willing to make himself feel uncomfortable to bring a child through to a better place of ultimately greater good!
